**ANNOUNCEMENT: Parents' Night 2008**

On Wednesday, July 29, 2009, we will be having our annual Parents' Night show. The campers put on skits and songs for all the parents to enjoy. The show starts at 7PM at St. Mary's Cathedral on the corner of Geary and Gough streets. There will be plenty of free parking in the lot and a night filled with entertainment. We would love it if you and your child could be in attendance.

Please be sure to pick up your child from CUPC promptly (a.k.a. BEFORE 6:00 PM) on Wednesday in order to allow the leaders to prepare for the evening. We ask that you drop off your child(ren) at 6:30 PM at St. Mary's so that they may prepare with their leaders. Dinner will not be served, but some refreshments and snacks will be provided at the end of the show. Please help us by bringing a favorite dessert or finger food snack to share with other parents, as we will be having our annual refreshment potluck. Just bring your dish in when you drop off your child(ren) and get ready to socialize! Parents' Night should conclude around 9:00pm so that your child(ren) can get a good night's rest for rollerskating the following day If you have any further questions about Parent' Night, please see one of the directors. See you at the show!

LEADER APPRECIATION TRIP: PLEASE HELP!

All of the leaders put in countless hours, many devoting their entire summer breaks to volunteering at CUPC Summer Camp. Without them, there would be no camp at all. To thank the leaders for all the tireless effort, devotion, and sacrifice in giving summer after summer to making CUPC Summer Camp such a beloved place of many, we want to take them on an end of the summer trip together as a small token of our appreciation for them. The location of the trip is a secret, announced to the leaders on July 30, 2008 at Parents' Night.

But right now we need your help to finance the trip. If you could in any way support them with monetary contributions to our Leader Trip fund we would be so grateful. The leaders truly are the heart and soul of CUPC Summer Camp and for the majority of them, this trip is the only thank you after six long weeks of camp. Please support the leaders and make your donation ASAP. Checks can be made payable to CUPC Summer Camp...Attn: Leader Fund. Thank you!
