Japanese Speaking Ministries (Nihongo-Bu)

The Japanese-speaking ministry is few in number but strives for spiritual growth as it continues the legacy of the first generation Japanese founders of the church.

A Japanese-English bilingual worship service is held every Sunday from 10:00 a.m.  Bible study and fellowship is led by Pastor Hiroko Suzuki in Japanese after worship and Tuesday evenings.

Sunday School

Classes are provided for children and youth in grades Pre-K thru 12 on Sunday mornings. Sunday school begins with the English-Japanese Worship Service at 10:00am, then the children and youth attend age-appropriate classes around 10:30 am.

Midweek Fellowship (Online)

This inter-generational group meets for fellowship, Bible study, and prayer. This provides the opportunity to share joys and concerns, and lift those concerns and prayers, as a group, up to God. They gather every Tuesday evening on Zoom from 6:30 pm during the school year.

Friday Noon Bible Study (Online)

All are invited to participate in Bible Study with relevancy to life experiences. They convene for fellowship and support as they strive to gain a deeper understanding of their faith. Meetings are held every Friday from 12:00pm on Zoom.

Visitation Ministry

A group of volunteers visit those that are unable to worship with us in-person.

New Members Class

This class is for those seeking to become new members, or express a desire to transfer their church membership to Christ United Presbyterian Church. Guided by the pastor or church leadership as needed, the class helps potential CUPC members learn the fundamentals of the Christian faith and the Presbyterian Church (USA).

TIFF (Together In Faith and Fellowship) – ON HIATUS

Everyone is invited to participate in fellowship and support through fellowship and mission activities.  TIFF meets quarterly (on the fifth Sundays) after worship.
